Bay Area Rainy Day
Waking up to the wind blowing
It’s raining in Bay Area
My heart fills with joy every time it rains here
I’m in sync with the plants who are hungry for the blessing of mother nature
Clouds roll by
Sky turns to the dark
Flowers and plants smiling and dancing in the wind
Rain showers all of us
A snail silently and slowly moves up along the wet fences in the garden
Ducks quack loudly as they enjoy the shower
Dogs shake their butts happily as they jog with their family
Children rotate their umbrellas while stomping on splatters of water on the ground
My neighbor picks the gigantic lemons from their backyard
The mailman stops by and drops off packages
I go to the grocery market to pick up the necessary items
People get ready for another week full of joy and wonders
This is my first time writing a poem and posting it.
“Waiting for perfect is never as smart as making progress.” – Seth Godin
Continuously inspired by Seth Godin’s wisdom and keep pushing through my fear of imperfection. Good night!
